These terms apply to the APSU '16 website (apsu16.com) and its members' portal, run by the Class of 2016 year group of St. Augustine's College Past Students, Cape Coast, Ghana (“APSU '16”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Membership and your account
- The members' portal is for members of the Class of 2016 of St. Augustine's College whose registration the executive committee has confirmed.
- You sign in with the Google account that uses the email address you registered with. Keep that Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per member. Do not share your access or sign in as someone else.
- Keep your profile accurate, and update it if your details change.
2. Respecting fellow members
- Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, threats, hate speech or bullying.
- The directory is for keeping the brotherhood connected. Do not copy, collect or share other members' details outside the association without their permission, and do not use them for marketing.
- Do not misuse the site, try to access parts you are not authorised to, or disrupt it.
- Follow the laws of Ghana and wherever you live.
3. What you post
- You keep ownership of the photos, videos, notes and nominations you post. You give APSU '16 permission to display them on the site and in the association's own channels.
- Only post content you have the right to share. If other people can be clearly identified in a photo or video, make sure they are happy for it to be shared.
- The committee reviews submissions and may decline or remove anything that breaks these terms or is inappropriate. You can ask for your own content to be removed at any time.
4. Dues, contributions and merchandise
- Payments are made through GroupFund, the association's contribution platform, using Mobile Money. Prices are shown in Ghana cedis (GH₵).
- Contributions are voluntary, and you may contribute more than once.
- Merchandise photos show the designs; the committee confirms sizes, collection and delivery. Event packages and their contents are set by the committee and may change if circumstances require.
- If you paid by mistake, or for something we can no longer provide, contact info@apsu16.com. Refunds are decided by the executive committee.
5. The site itself
The site is run by volunteers for the association. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, APSU '16 is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site.
6. Suspension and leaving
You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time. The committee may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms or is no longer a confirmed member.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
